IGN.....advanced warfare

SO a while ago I saw this

And I thought, gee, I wonder what IGN's rating for Advanced warfare on the Xbox one will be. Sure enough

Oh lord. They gave it a 9.1/10 btw

 

But jake, what about the part where they promote the Xbox one version?

I'm getting to that. 

They desaturated the colors on all versions except the xbox one and the 360 to make it look better than the other platforms, giving it a really washed out look that it certainly didn't have when I played it yesterday. 

 

 

This is just shameful. This is just blatant platform-promotion, and an obvious fixed COD review like normal. 

 

On the positive, I guess the ps4 version is true 1080 60 fps, and xbox one stretched 1360x1080, which means they were at least trying for the highest resolution possible. 

1 shitty 1080p game. Sigh.

But AW seems pretty good on consoles. On PC it is still shit, but on consoles it is good. The exo-skeleton gives the game a new dimension with the jumps.

I think even if it is much better, which I haven't tried MP yet, the part that matters, people are so sick of it a lot won't give it another chance.

I'm amused at how bad IGN is at syncing video.

Its actually made me interested in COD again, really enjoying the single player so far (Kevin Spacey is absolutely fantastic.. though he is an awesome actor anyway)

 

I am so far impressed, it looks and plays great, I love the suit, the mobility really adds a nice fresh element to a pretty stale franchise and I am enjoying the new weapons and the story is really good so far too, decent voice acting (espcecially from Spacey and the main Protagonist)

 

Not touch MP yet but it looks fun from TBs video, and a few minutes of a live stream I watched, glad they have gotten rid of kill streaks and based it on score, should encourage more hard-working player

 

Yeah I think as a COD 9/10 is fair.. as a game overall.... i am not sure maybe 8/10, I cannot decide until I complete it and play the MP, but honestly I am enjoying it.. and I am surprised I am!

I'm more mad about the comparison video. It was a load of crap. 

I still have yet to try to MP or much of the SP yet for that matter, and I'm willing to give it a try. My reaction to titanfall was "I'd love this game without the damn titans. Throw more players in and get rid of the AIs"

I hear that the movement system can be clunky, but well see. Some players also complain it really encourages camping, but it can't be as bad as BO1.

So will this command turn all acceleration off? Even in the multiplayer? I have yet to install and play multiplayer and I don't want the terrible acceleration, this command gets rid of it?
