Limelight: New Ghetto Shield?

As an Apple guy I unfortunately cannot try out Limelight on a phone. But what is it like for Android?

 

Could people who have an Android give this a quick shot if they haven't already. I'd be interested to see what it's like.

I have tried it on a Nexus 7 2013, and it was choppy at best. Nowhere near as smooth as my Shield Portable.

Obviously it's never near as good on anything else than shield. Shield was developed for that reason, tablets and phones have their wi-fi on super saving modes to save battery, they don't go for performance.

But could it serve as a replacement if your not willing to go out and buy a shield?

I tried it with my nexus 4 and it was excellent, my nexus 7 not so much. 

nexus 4: latency was like 50-80ms 

nexus 7: latency was like 100-150ms

I used it on my LG g2 had a ping of 35ms with a moga controller it felt like it was running on the phone
