Whats the deal with H220x and H240x availability being so scarce?

I've been looking for multiple retailers for this amazing product, so why are there only 2 online retailers that are in the us that even sell them? 

And it looks like the websites that have them are out of stock? Whats the deal here? Were they a limited thing? If so why is swiftech still advertising them all over their facebook page?

Usually because people who want a custom loop will buy a custom loop, and people who want an AiO will buy an AiO. Not an H2xx X

couldn't agree more, i know people like the ability to be able to add a block to aio's but most people if they do go water cooling just go with the h105 or h100i.

I'd like to know as well since its much more convenient than building a custom loop. i'm contemplating on buying the H220X or the Cooler Master Glacer 240L. and adding a universal water block on my GPU.

 

I'm pretty sure convenience is a big thing for consumers so im surprised this isn't a thing right now.
