How do you eliminate Static Sounds in your headset?

siberiansteel11

So just recently I could hear annoying static sounds in my headset while listening to music, gaming, and others. What's up with this?

Just recently? And only when you're playing something or do you hear the static even more when using them without playing any music/games? Does the static get louder/change as you do stuff on your computer?

I don't hear any static if I'm not listening to anything But when I do I can hear it. The static doesn't get louder though But it's annoying

This is a sign of either poor power delivery, or poor audio source.  I would aim more towards the poor source.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

Try plugging your headset into the front panel connectors.

Often onboard audio has a lot of noise.

I think you may be a bit mixed up there. So far as I know, and from personal experience, unless it's a quality front-panel I/O and header cable, you're going to see more interference with that.

Yeah, I was waiting for him to say that there was more static from front panel.
