I wanted a Zalman Z11 Plus because it looked like a Lamborghini in a way.

Yeah, I learned that less is more and I now have a Corsair Air 540.

Some other things:

An iPod Touch 1st Generation. Apple make excellent products IMO, but the 1st Gen Touch wasn't one of them.

An NVIDIA Shield. Not childhood, but I find I use it so little that it wasn't worth it. It's still a fantastic device, just one I have little time to use.

An AMD FX 8350. Very happy that I didn't go for one of those. Not because it's AMD, but because for what I do, Intel is better.

A Corsair CX600M. Good unit, but 600W is a strange wattage point for a current-gen system and the cables were ungodly. Thankfully, @Lord Pantaloons let me take his 700W Silent Pro M. And while the cables are still ugly, the supply's wattage makes sense for me, as I prepare to buy either a second GTX 770 or a pair of GTX 970s.

Tech related... I'd have to say that, although I enjoyed the Sega Genesis immensely, it would have, in hindsight, been better to go with a SNES.

Wanting to buy the most expensive SSD because I thought it was the best. The 840 pro was $1.00+ per/gb during that time.. Glad I didn't do that.

Also at one point I seriously wanted some Beats Solo headphones. Trust me guys.. I've learned since then  <_<

Got an iPod touch 4th generation, ended up being decent for when I had it, but had way too much stuff locked down without jailbreaking, and still had too much locked down after jailbreaking, after apple released ios 6 my iPod was basically fucked because I couldn't do a whole lot on it without apps crashing every so often..

@TheSLSAMG Corsair air 540 is great, I plan to get one once I have upgraded my rig a bit more.

I also have the CX600M, its a decent PSU, but the modular outputs are really lacking on it.... and the sleeving is pretty shitty...

Do it, it's a dream to build in! :P

I am thinking about doing a loop in it as well. It has the room to take some pretty good cooling hardware,

I've wanted that case since before I even built my rig, but sadly had to go with the 230t instead as I was low on funds and was badly in need of a new computer. (My laptop died the week after my rig was built, and I had no other computer to use)

I really did stupid things when buying headphones, really bad experiences

  1. Beats solo, i wanted them so badly, I ended up buying a fake pair of beats
  2. Monster Inspiration, again did the same mistakes, but this time they were original

Is it a good case? I have been thinking about getting one for one of my random PCs.

the case itself is decent, you can't remove the drive cages which is kinda poo, there are no cable management grommets which is also poo, the front fan filter cannot be removed which is even more poo, the front panel is a pain in the ass to remove because there are 6 plastic clips on the inside that have to be removed which is really really poo...

overall the case is pretty decent for the price.

When WoW was about 1 year old, I got tired of the laggy experience my mother's Gateway (is that company still around???) laptop even on minimum settings. I wanted to build my own computer, so I talked to the guy at the shop. He talked me into the parts he earned the most commission on in my budget. So I ended up with a ~$1000 CPU and no dedicated GPU. I still feel like an idiot.

Also, wanting Quadro and other WS cards.... because more expensive = More better.....right guys?

Powerbook G4! the PowerPC macs had all of the support dropped not too long after the Intel Macs came out and then they just kind of... went out of fashion because flash wasn't supported.
