How do you clean your PC (Just for fun)

mosin40

I use a bike pump with a small aerosol can straw attached to the tip. Cheaper than using cans of compressed air :P

bellows with the aerosol can straw siliconed into the end works as well.

i haven't in 4 months(approx) and this is what it looks like( i'm away just now and this is the most recent pic)

hO6jCtx.jpg

i use a hand pump that was for inflating footballs and an atachment that makes it look knida like this 31E6a2RuqfL._SY300_.jpg

it works surprisingly well if you give the handle a good push and has plenty of pressure if you put it close to the component.

My dad always taught me to use a vacuum when the PC is off. As far as I know, it is the most effective method I could use. I've always done this and my pcs work at significantly lower temps depending on the level of dust in them before and after.

Just because of this thread I am going to rinse out my dust filters tonight. The interior is still pretty dust free. Positive pressure FTW!

Cleaning out my PC is one of the things I do to relax. So I take my time and strip it down and clean the PCBs with anti-static brushes and the non electronic components with a little Invisisble Glass and a microfiber towel. Heatsinks may get a quick burst of compress air. I just get into a bit a zen moment and forget everything else.

I, too, have to fill car tires from time to time.

Car tires? More like running air tools. Goes up to 100psi. Only problem I have with using it is the moisture in the lines from condensation.

I clean my computer about once every 4 months using a compressor. Just remember to do it in a well ventilated area(read: outside) and to bleed out the water once in a while and it does the job wonderfully.
