Will Windows 10 on Xbox mean Xbox games will run on PC?

Keudn

I saw this video from TheRedDragon and he is talking about how when xbox gets windows 10 games and apps will be cross compatible not only with xbox to pc but xbox apps and games on mobile devices (obviously scaled down). Is this actually possible? My understanding is that even though xbox has x86 architecture it doesn't use directx like PCs do so it would take more work than just running the same game on a PC. And right now xbox has windows 8 so why can't we play xbox games on pc now? Is this something that will actually happen or is TRD just saying shit he doesn't know about?

People thought that would happen with windows 8 but microsoft decided no mainly because its those exclusives that get XBox's selling

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

Hopefully not because then the console game would be identical to the PC game. The performance would be a smidgen better but when they don't do any graphical improvements nor add graphics options, who cares?

I am 99% sure this will not happen.

It most likely won't happen. They will both run Windows 10 but that is as far as it goes. Xbox games will stay Xbox games. Besides, we all know PC's run all console games as seen from various events when a "console" crashes to windows 7 desktop! :D

well for the most part the games that run on dx11/12 could run on the pc they wont due to exclusives and not being optimised, look at the zombie game that just got ported

That would be interesting if you could stream PC (Win8/10) games to Xbox One and vice-versa...
