Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: The Green Legend will feature the first film's star Michelle Yeoh and will premiere on August 28th, 2015 on Netflix as well as in IMAX movie theaters. It's worth noting that theatrical distribution for this film will be limited toonly IMAX screens, at least initially. For those who don't have a screen nearby, Netflix will be the only way to catch the film. As noted by Variety, IMAX is hoping that for a successful opening in China, a country where Netflix is unavailable.

Can't catch it at the theatre? It's all good man, just watch it on Netflix. Seriously, I really like this idea, and I can't wait for the sequel, even though I haven't seen the original film yet (changing soon).

Netflix has had a pretty good run in regards to TV shows, so they could do a very good job with this film. Do you think it will turn out good?

Up next,   "Stalking Lizard"

I do really think Netflix has a good future if they continue to produce original content, but they have to be careful here. If they make too much are start hurting other content makers, those other content rights holders may not allow Netflix to air their content and essentially busting Netflix.
