It will never happen. Most people hold no value for compassion.

it takes one person to start something that's what hes saying. if some of us were to start doing something and changing it would be for the better and eventually people may just hold a value for it

Agreed, that was pretty damn perfect.

What do they know of England, who only England know?

You try to convince a world filled with people consumed by hatred that there's no reason to hate another person for what they see is "wrong" with them and tell me where that gets you.

people have managed to convince millions of people before no reason it can't be done again, hell it would be easier to spread to word of change in the world we live in today

Was that supposed to be a rap? Damn, that genre just keeps getting lazier and lazier :P

Anyway, it's a bunch of nice-sounding platitudes, nothing more. Is humanity worse than it was 100 years ago? I really can't say, but we're certainly in an era of unprecedented ability to report and communicate information, so it's incredibly easy for anybody to satisfy their own confirmation bias of how they view the world. I already treat the people in my life who deserve it with love and/or respect and a 4 minute video isn't going to change anything for me.

Things are as assbackwards now as they were a thousand years ago. We've replaced old forms of stupidity with new ones.

life is worse. while people will go on and on about the living level people have just look at what's happening in less fortunate countries, they have crap conditions and while people try to do something about it not enough is been done only enough so people think this something is being done. while its a 4 minute video it isn't meant to change your mind for the rest of your life at best its meant to allow you to think of another perspective of what's going on

NWO ... and let me lead you to a better world.  It is not communism or socialism because politicians give it these labels to keep people believing there can't be true happiness for all on earth.  They use the labels to create fear.

This path that he talks about to have a new beginning comes from people in the world saying enough with patriotism, commerce, bad criminal justice systems and more and grouping together to overthrow the governments running each nation one at a time.

NWO ... New World Order

I would die for this cause if the numbers were there to start taking down governments one at a time.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

Though I agree with the concept of the video one thing bothers me, the idea that the past was a more moral place. No. People were opressed by religion, nowadays it still happens a bit but back then if you were in Europe and you didn't feel like eating bacon you'd be called jew and sometimes even put in prision. Do we live in a perfect world, no. But has the world gotten any worse (other than pollution), no. We have problems now that past generations had and we will continue to have them for a while. But we do need a change.

i'm a potato

And if I wanted to argue that life is better, all I'd have to do is google "the world is getting better statistics" and I'd be provided with a wealth of information about how life expectancies are longer, "extreme poverty" has lessened, and education is more prevalent. I could also google about how the world is getting worse and get just as many statistics. In the end, it all comes down to which numbers you want to cherry pick.

:D well thanks i kinda got that. would still be interesting to see but anyway i do agree with the premiss. the world should end soon or actually will end soon in my opinion i mean when i say soon it may aswell take a couple of hundred years from now but all the signs are there. every day you read about something in the world that got worse. you never here of some country developing a project to help all the homeless or reduce taxes for example. for gods sake everthing just keeps getting worse and i think there is a point where we cant keep up the sharade anymore and everything will collapse.

Potato salad gets 20k, many Americans with serious illness being ignored when trying to do a heartfelt fundraiser. Facebook "friends" in bulk matters more than the actual person. There is constant war. Different ideologies create unending conflict, each generation is more entitled than the last, people have millions and are famous for no legitimate reason besides they have a pair of breasts and hang out with celebs and so on. Welp, time to Civilization Beyond Earth in real life and venture into space.

So much truth in this video. And it's the entirety of the problem. Very few people care about what's important. Everyone wants to be famous - for whatever reason that would be. Every religion wants to be the only religion and take over the world - not bring peace. Money is everywhere, and is how the world runs. If people cared less about money and money was less important, maybe the rest of the wars would stop - the ones that aren't over religion.

The world is broken, corrupted and in a terrible state. But at least we're all here. Maybe those of us who don't care about fame, money/status, religion, etc can keep the world going and clear it up a little.

To make our home a better place for us; we will have to put some work in. It may mean having to clear up after other people, but it would be worth it in the end.

Only thing is, we're quite outnumbered.

Well 100 years ago World War 1 was a month in so probably not.
