So far it's been great. I've had no problems that weren't my fault. I might have broken the one on my laptop with a ton of accidental crapware, but I can fix that.

Debian testing.

I like to live dangerously and testing comes with an easy option to install Cinnamon instead of Gnome 3.

I did not answer the poll because I am using both Windows 7 Professional and Linux Deepin. I plan on using Windows 7 Professional until 2020 and my hope is that gaming will be a lot more Linux-friendly five years from now so I can finally sever the Microsoft umbilical cord.

I use windows 8.1 exclusively. To get rid of the tablet stuff I use Startisback. It costs 5 bucks or something and I like the integration and customization in it that other start menus don't have

Windows 8.1. It's just the most recent thing (at time of purchase), and coming form XP I had no preconceived notion about what would be different between that and 7, or of what I would like/dislike between the two. Anything I wouldn't like I could work around or get use to, and since I'm not a real power user I haven't had too much trouble with 8.1 as it is, though I also haven't tried anything too deep in the OS either or ran into something it sucks at so far.

Looks like Win7 (at work) - actually it looks more like Win98, but probably is Win7
