LTT 3DMark Thread

Haha, not really.  I still feel that the rankings should be based on graphics scores.  You overclocked your GPUs better than I did.  You deserve the spot.  = )

Hopefully it is.  I'm seriously considering selling the 2 x FTWs and getting a Titan.  I also have the 2 SCs coming in exchange for the 980ti Classys via the step up program, sell those and get another.  lol....always wanted a Titan.

Wow, you're considering going all out.  I like your style!

I was going to do a Titan XP SLI myself, but I honestly think a full version will come out in the beginning of next year and that's just too damn close for a Titan XP SLI to be old news.  I've decided to ride the 1080s out until then because the full version, if it comes, will go great with a new Skylake X build.  That's when I will return to the 10 or more core CPU.

What do they call the upgrade to the Titan?  lol  Full pascal would be hard to control.....

Who knows?  They'll probably name it "The $1500 Titan"

You can only order the Titan X through nVidia so there would be no way to use EVGA's Step Up program.

Time spy must not be very gpu intensive if you can run 2161 mhz on it, the only cards I've seen that high are on water chillers or LN2 :P  Is GPU-Z displaying 2161 mhz under load? I find it weird that it'd be boosting 400 mhz past your boost clock.

You could improve that overall massively by stepping up to X99.

20K+ overall easily :)

Heck you'd get slightly more GPU score too.

Damn.  That would have looked much worse if the HWE chip had the same 4.8 overclock.

if that HWE could do anything more...

my best chances are to blame TIM application...

got a replacement TIM and going to clean everything out next Friday when I get a day off

hopefully that will drastically drop my load temps and I'll be able to push more voltage
