My best FS physics scores on my 5820k came at 4.7.  High 18k with the occasional low 19k.

managed a 24.5k graphics score in firestrike performance with cpu over 5ghz , buy yes its at its limits , upgrade time but its not cheap , rig i have now games more than fine so id essentially be upgrading just for better benchmark scores

What GPU temps are you getting under load?  Are you manually overclocking with the graph or are you using the sliders?
