Yeah thats not happening for awhile. It may exist but it doesn't may we're going to do it. and LG already has some 8k tech.

1080p for standard is still something we are shooting for.

Yet so many 720p things exist.

I know but the power to drive something that is 70% harder to drive than 4k is 3 years away atleast.

4k is nowhere near reasonable for the average user yet, itll be a long time before 5k becomes a standard

I said "this monitor" come on you even quoted me. I'm not talking about TV's, I'm talking about monitors.

So? Its not like anyone cares about a 5k monitor. The small screen size makes the resolution useless. Even 4k at 28" you cannot see the pixels.

It makes sense for tvs, but not monitors. Also nothing will make sure of that non-standard resolution.

Just because there is a new technology that does not make 4k outdated. Not even .1% of people are using 4k, and it is definitely not standard yet.
