Kickstarter page: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1300298569/under-the-dog

Here's the premise of the story:

It's about a team of high school students (of course), who are also super agents based in Tokyo and on the hunt for terrorists. The interesting/weird part comes in the stresses placed on these young agents; if they fail, they will be killed. As will their families, who have all had bombs installed in their heads. Cheery.

Alright alright, so it sounds cool...really cool. So uh...people, please, let's kickstart this thing, because I really, really want to see it now...

So what all do we get if this project gets funded?

So we get 1 episode if it's funded, and 2 more if they meet their stretch goals... Please, they better reach their stretch goals... Not only that, but we English speakers will also get professional English subtitles. Now that's very nice to see! And of course you get all of that other awesome stuff listed above.

Oh ya, here's the trailer for Under the Dog:

Under the Dog eh... Not sure I want to watch that.

Do not  as I  do, and  not  as I say. Instead do as you may..

I want it to succeed, but that's a lot of money for one episode. I realise anime is expensive to make, but still. If it were more, I'd be all over it.

But it is very pretty, although not particularly interesting

Under the Dog? I really want an "Under the Sea" parody now. I would fund, but I'm a college student now and that means no money except on textbooks which I can't seem to find to rent despite Barnes & Nobles saying I could just yesterday. Anyway, the girl's outfit reminds of someone and I don't know who. It kind of looks like a mixture of Spoiler and someone else.

I think this is Stephanie Brown's New 52 look as Spoiler.

...

Sad that you think that personally. I mean, all bronies like a pony show, while only some anime ethusiasts like what could be considered pathetic in anime.

"I mean jeez, if we aren't holding back, then I think all PC enthusiasts are a waste of space because many of them spend excessive amounts of time and money on a hobby that benefits no one but themselves most of the time and only slightly at best. $5,000 for a computer? That could feed an African tribe for a week. Why not use some of that time doing community service making the world a better place instead of troubleshooting why BF4 suddenly has artifacts or building PCs?"

I feel that entire paragraph isn't different from what you've said. There's just reasoning given in mine.

There is quite a bit of anime that's very deep, philosophical, and generally great. There's also quite a bit that's pretty horrible and stupid. Pathetic even. But that doesn't make all anime enthusiasts pathetic.

PC gamers and tech enthusiasts get the same flak for having the nerve to be passionate about something they like. Each fandom has  "dark side", but the very idea of a fandom is simply a gathering of like minded people who share an interest in something. There are plenty of people who find us pathetic, you know. No reason to return such negativity.

I think there is a slight difference between tech and a kids tv programme about aminated pony's.

I mean it looks good but I kinda want to know the plot before anything. Masahiro is a very good director and produce some really good anime shows so I have faith this would be good but its a lot of money for 1 episode which I feel like it wouldn't cost that much but I don't know anything about that. I hope it does reach its goals since it seems interesting to watch.

Well, that's what makes this kickstarter really awesome. A lot of the staff are from generally great anime which adds to why I understand the cost is so high.
