Well, that's what makes this kickstarter really awesome. A lot of the staff are from generally great anime which adds to why I understand the cost is so high.

 

yeah but if they want that price for every episode then either, A - it wont happen, or B - they lower the goal of it so it can be reached easier and not only getting 1 episode out of this

I think there is a slight difference between tech and a kids tv programme about aminated pony's. 

Uhm correction, It's a show about the magic of friendship depicted primarily through animated ponies.

COME ON EPISODE 2! :D

Here's a question: What if they are using this to make a pilot episode to get funding to make an actual movie/series? 

That'd be sweet. Like, if investors or wtv didn't want to make the series because they didn't see the potential in it, then people paid for a pilot episode via kickstarter, then this + whatever popularity the episode had would show the investors that there is enough interest to finance a full movie/series. 

That'd be awesome. I doubt it will happen, but it's a cool idea imo.
