What was your first job?

First real job I worked in a Fish Camp/Old Cannery during the summer... hourly pay wasn't spectacular but 60+ hours of OT a week so that helped, lol.

Worked at a strawberry farm. Can't remember how much it got me, couldn't have been much though (13 years old then)

Production worker building wind turbine controllers for Vestas Wind Systems, got paid ~$35 an hour working the night shift 8 hours monday to thursday, then got paid ~$71 an hour working 12 hours overtime friday to sunday. It would net me about $7500 after taxes per month, but I wouldn't have any spare time at all. Work sleep work sleep work sleep and nothing else. Did that for 3 months until I couldn't take it anymore and decided to quit a month early before starting University. :)

 

I was 19 at the time btw, first and only job. Didn't do overtime or night shift for the first 4 months of the job though.

I applied for a card shop its small and easy so ya, and a whole bunch of big retail stores. thats what im doing to get the money for my PC

Currently, doing some IT work for a family friend, $18.50 at three hour minimum payment.
