That title, and in Off Topic. I wanted a laugh, you misleading bastard :'(

 

Anyway, personally, maybe. I don't feel much for ending up like TB. If your family has a history of certain diseases, I would certainly consider it. (Fortunatly my family doesn't).

It is said, that civilised man seeks out good and intelligent company, so that through learned discourse he may rise above the savage and closer to God. Personally, however, I like to start the day with a total dickhead to remind me I'm best!

One of my friends has Crohn's Disease, and has undergone a couple of colonoscopies for it. From what he told me, it's more uncomfortable than painful, but still painful. Just grin and bear it and try to think of something else. :P

I haven't.. And as far as i know they give you some pretty heavy drugs before the procedure in the us. 

Here we have to stay awake all the way through it :/

It's not a particularly happy story, the Crohn's got so bad last year he had to take a lot of time off university for it, to the point where he failed the first year by missing so much course content. He then retook the year, and the exact same thing happened again, so he had to leave. :( Although now I think he's doing his degree part-time from home, so he should be able to get it without hindrance.

 

Crohn's isn't a particularly damaging condition by any means, it's just very uncomfortable, painful, pointless, and irritating. Kind of like Diabetes or Cystic Fibrosis.
