someone is trying to tell me that they have 4 gtx 690 in their computer and i told them that 8 way sli is not possible. he said i was stupid. is that possible? can you sli 4 gtx 690's?

max driver support in Windows is for 4 GPUs

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

There are not any CPU's that support 8 way sli/crossfire.

i think it actually is possible but not for gaming, only for work station type things. (no sli bridge and so on...)

Man I don't know why everybody's acting like 8-way SLI is such a hard thing to come by. Shiiit I got like 32 980Ms in my laptop man, 2 cards per GB of RAM amirite? =D =D =D

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.
