I don't understand why the SWAT team can just barge into your house without evidence.

 

This is partially why I want to leave the United States when I turn 21.

So how much longer until law enforcement redesigns their policy for when it's necessary to send SWAT? How about when there has been a verified threat and not just because someone sends something over the internet.

No, it was a police raid for marijuana, he was arrested for possession of marijuana, the SWATing is an exaggeration that DJ Keemstar has invented to promote his show.

For some reason this doesn't surprise me.

Not that I'm that I'm saying it's bad, but he did seem like a stoner.

He was also arrested for heroin position in 2011

Even if it wasn't swat I don't think police resources should be used whenever someone sends a complaint over the internet. If it was an actual "raid" what was their purpose? They would've had to have a warrant and a reason for doing so.

You can't just assume someone has drugs and bust down the door. They would've had to have been given a reliable source that told them.

Because it brings up an interesting question regarding how technology affects streamers. i.e. I see you live, doing some drug, and I call in an anonymous drug tip to your local authorities. Bam. Busted. 

Obviously I wouldn't call streaming private in any sense of the word, even if it's streaming the inside of your home, but at the same time, I can't help but feel it's a dick move to do this.
