Moto 360 smartwatch priced at $249.99 according to Best Buy listing

ETRJ

Casio has some nice ones. I used to have a Casio Edifice Waveceptor. Solar Powered, Radio Controlled, Perpetual Calendar.... It was awesome. Then I got drunk and lost it. >_>

Right! That was actually the one I was visualizing when I was thinking of Citizen.

I generally only go for automatic watches, I haven't owned a battery/solar powered watch since my Guess high school graduation gift.

I'm still very excited about the look and design on this (seriously, I can't think of any other scenario where I've seen a circular display) but the more I think about it the less functional it seems, at least to me, living in a country with limited connectivity. I'm sure this would do much better in other countries.

Since we finally have a good looking smartwatch, I'm hoping we're soon going to see a transition due to app content. I want it to do more than just give me notifications and count my steps.

I don't understand. How do you have a watch that doesn't have a battery or solar power?

Do you wind it everyday?

Self winding.

I have a Bulova that has no power source apart from the mechanical mechanism and my own arm movements. It has no power reserve to speak of. Plenty of watches still like that out there.
