What smartphone should I get?

Hey guys!!! First time making a forum post(like one i created)! Just joined a few days ago i think, but anyways im planning to get a new phone (YES ABOUT TIME). I currently have a iphone 4 which i hate. Im planning on switching to android but the only thing pulling me back is that i love imessage due to the fact i can text my friends from different countries as long as i got internet. Does android have something similar or a straight forward texting app that allows me to message my friends? Im stuck in deciding between the HTC one M8 or the LG G3. I never use the speakers provided on phones due to my environment, nor do i really care for a "selfie camera". Please voice your opinions on which phone i should get and why. you can use whats app as a texting app

That totally flew by my head lol thank you, looks like i can commit to getting an Android without worrying on how i will message my friends

LG G3 has better specs and stuff, M8 has better build quality, but for me Looks<Specs

I would recommend the HTC One M8, it's a amazing phone.

The Xperia Z2 or the LG G3

 

The Xperia Z2 is waterproof and can be fully submerged in water without physical damage (shower porn "build guides" ftw)

 

The LG G3 has an amazing display and will probably have much more updates down the line compared to the Z2.

Your friends will have to use Whatsapp though.

I actually thought about getting a waterproof case for my iphone for showerporn, but then i would need waterproof earphones lol

mine has been very very slow  lately (takes up to a minute for my phone to open up apps), plus it takes random screenshots(which is weird when your friends ask why you took a screenshot of her on snapchat)

I chose the pad for that becasue in my case I dont really watch vids on the move because im too cheap to get a data plan so I chose the one with the biggest screen
