How much would you sell your current PC setup for?

damn! you're that broke?

well the PC I am using right now is only worth about 1300 or so. But no I was joking.

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

Personal attachment can't replace money. Never sell my rig. I think all that pc stuff here in storage + rig may be worth 1,5k. As some classics like Q6600 still sealed in his box :P

Bye LTT. That was an interesting journey on this board. At least here you see how not to do it. I'll go shaking my head about this place.

I don't know, $2800 maybe?

PC is probably worth $1200-1300 used, monitors another 400-500, plus 100-120 for the kb/mouse and $75 for the UPS. Then my DAC/amp are worth $500 together and my headphones are worth $300.

I don't give a F about any of these things though, idk why you guys get so personally attached to your PCs. I understand that you value the time you spent on your mods and whatnot but at some point you have to let go :P

Probably around $4000 because right now I'm in between pc's and all the work I'd have to do to get it all back and running needs to be subsidized

What's with all the crazy prices? I said ~$2500 for mine. And I have modded gear and SLI 770's, and a hell of an overclocking CPU. Plus all the boxes for each piece except the speakers/case. Lol.

Your PC is worth less than that new (including monitor, mouse, and keyboard, not including speakers) (PSU substituted for similar unit)

Modifications and good overclockers mean little in determining the price of something. All modifications do is void warranties to a prospective buyer unless they are genuinely interested in the changes made. There are some crazy prices here, and I won't name names, but you can't really judge.

Yet in my first post on this topic I also included tons of other things. There are people on this topic with almost half the specs of my computer and are saying $2k :P

edit: But, you do bring a valid point. The value of my components in a bit under a year deteriorated quicker than I had thought they would. I do also have aftermarket fans and two 2tb red drives that I didn't include, I should have mentioned that.

Whole setup, I still say ~$2500. Realistically, someone would try to talk it down to ~$2000-2300, and I wouldn't budge. As I mentioned, I have almost all the boxes and warranty info...Hell, even the receipt.

I really wish that we'd just make organic hardware already, that grows and adapts to the demands it needs to meet. That way, grannies' computers can be floppy sacks of organicness and the 12 year old Minecrafters will look like the guys that only do bicep curls, and the nerdy programmers will finally have justice, with their body-builder rigs that skipped leg day.

Without rebates, my PC is worth around $1250 new.

I would sell it for around $1000, but would take $900. I know you can build equivalent PCs for less, but my price is based upon it's current worth.
