Typical ASUS packaging with that premium feel :)

20140822_161958_zps8928bea9.jpg

These black boxes must cost them a fortune. And closed cell foam is always nice to see

What's in the box?

20140822_162101_zpsfb41adc1.jpg

And what about what's underneath it?... OH NO! There's nothing there!

20140822_162128_zpsde2a3cbd.jpg

Just kidding of course. But the packaging is nice enough to show off.. Now what's this?

But the one that is happiest about the purchase is my cat. Cats love boxes

I did not bother with any glamour shots of the ASRock board.. It's a dark shade of brown and the package says it supports ATI crossfire (Yes indeed.. Not AMD.. ATI.. My confidence in the product is not that high right now)

But still

That's why you get a cheap Integra or DOHC VTEC Civic. Those cars are pretty common, so parts are pretty cheap.

Mustang parts are just as common if not more. Its just the need fore more. In fact I would be willing to bet that mustang parts are cheaper than comparable Civic or Integra parts.

Many fords share common mechanical parts. Engines, Transmissions, axles etc. Need a cheap intake for your 5.0 Mustang? find any similar year model Crown Vic, Lincoln, Mercury, F150, or Explorer and any of them will fit.

Yup. The engine in my dad's '08 CVPI is more or less a beefed up version of the 4.6 liter V8 in my stepdad's F150.

That's why you get a cheap Integra or DOHC VTEC Civic. Those cars are pretty common, so parts are pretty cheap.

I'm literally doing this with a late 80's - early 90's AWD civic wagon... the parts are like a dime a dozen and the car can be had for around $300 - $400 (Obv not a looker... or even runner, but not like that matters... SLEEPERS DON'T USE STOCK ENGINES!!! some times...)

If I get a runner for $400 i'll slap a cheap ebay turbo kit on it until it blows, then put something better in, use that same turbo kit and properly tune it.

Mustang parts are just as common if not more. Its just the need fore more. In fact I would be willing to bet that mustang parts are cheaper than comparable Civic or Integra parts.

Civic parts are fairly cheap (for new ebay parts) but fords used market is much cheaper. (I mean I get get a full running 302 for around $250 - $300) but a new set of heads? pff at least $800 for anything that's any good.

((As you guys might notice i'm not bias towards any particular group of cars, I like them all, make anything go fast and its going to be fun.))

/me: Making people laugh when they get beat by a Volvo 760 turbo running 20PSI on E85.)) :P Silly IROC-Z didn't know when to stop talking.

Reference GTX 480 / 470? I don't know, but looks older than 500 series ones, and due to more than one SLI connector, it's likely a high end card.

And are gonna use that as a coaster? It's so damn flat

Never trust my advice. Only take any and all advice from me with a grain of salt. Just a heads up.

The KBP V60's come with dual LEDs.  You can either get them with blue&green or blue&red backlights.

You have the option to just leave the red LEDs on if you get one of the ones with blue&red backlighting.
