Yeah, that just looks stupid, and fake.

I don't know what is about black metal that just makes people want to be edgy. Or maybe black metal just atracts the people normal, polite society rejects.

Take Mikko Aspa. If only half of the things he claims about himself are true, then his HDD is a criminal conviction waiting to happen.

And its a shame he feels the need to be that way. He makes some amazing music (Deathspell Omega and Clandestine Blaze are just two examples).

But he also feels the need to be a 4Chan nazi and run a pornomag that features illegal shit and a fuckton of non-illegal (but still fucked up) shit.

On the topic of both edge-lord shit and what I have just bought:

The top items is a book on NSBM (which supposedly is very objective), and rest is a bunch of black metal from all over the world

Bought this micro audio system for a whopping 154USD (loical $ converted to USD),,,,

05_zpslo1vxofr.jpg

A shot of one of the speakers, I'd removed the cloth grill and those metal struts (or whatever) is for the grill. Nice wood veneer and the drivers, it's pretty damn heavy!

06_zps4inkdrvk.jpg

A shot of the back, it's rear ported and pretty awesome sounding......couldn't believe I'd paid a very reasonable price for the system.

You hit the jackpot. I'm building my Zelda collection, and finding a Wind Waker with the original manual and case in very good condition is tough...and expensive.

Yeah, it was a pretty good day, with some good prices (and some bad prices, like common DS games for 5 euros a piece.. Sorry, I'm just a cheap fuck I guess for not getting that).

Sadly though, I didn't see ANY Pokémon cards (something I collect as well as games) which is just.. It's just heartbreaking. This is a continuing trend, me not finding any Pokémon cards

I once saw a GameCube with the Windwaker (complete, with the Ocarina of Time disc), a controller AND a Wavebird on the Dutch equivalent of eBay, bid 20 euros on it (the price the seller asked for), went to eat dinner and within about 30 minutes, the price rose to 120 euros...

People are crazy for that game D: (and the Wavebird yea..)

But I am sure I will find it some time on the flea market (or thrift shop), it's just a matter of time!

This just in from Russia, a Gigabyte GA-X79-UD3. Looks like it's in great shape, and I really hope it works. Unfortunately, I can't test it without the processor, which is still on it's way from the Czech Republic. But it was $10 cheaper, dammit.

Sorry for the dreadful image, my camera has no stabilization whatsoever and everything it takes looks like it was taken through drunk goggles unless it's on a tripod.

Yep, already bought it. Got it for $49.99 because it was from the Czech Republic whereas the American ones were all $60. Downside being I have to wait for it. It's going in a workstation I was commissioned to build for a friend. Other specs are in my sig. Waiting to buy the GPU till last so I know what I have left in the budget.

What stepping is your CPU? If VT-d is important to you, you should have (and hopefully gotten) the C2 (SR0KX) stepping, the C1 stepping (SR0H8) doesn't support VT-d. Funny thing is, I was just reading about the ES-2670 v1 being the rage, with some buying dual scoketed server grade mobos for some dual CPU 16c/32t action.

It's a C2. My client doesn't need VT-d anyways but it was a plus, there are some other benefits to the C2 stepping over C1 and I might be able to get a tiny bit more of an overclock out of it. Not that I'll get much of an OC at all on a locked chip, but I'll take what I can get.

Well I just inherited a Samsung RF711 recently in more or less near mint condtion a friend of mine just upgraded to a new HP top spec laptop just under £1000 ..he could not get Win 10 to work and he was just gonna throw it out the window so I took it ..lol Considering this laptop from new was £799

Anyway this Samsung laptop is around 4 years old now it had a 1Tb SATA HD but Samsung only fitted a shitty 5400rpm drive it was preforming realy badly and was bottle necking the laptops performance big time . I fitted a new Samsung EVO 850 SSD 120gb and this laptop boots Win10 in under 6 secs !!! Also fitted in new Kingston 2X 4GB Hyper memory and used new antec silver 7 compound . Its a Core i7 CPU 2.2GHZ base but will run most of the time at Turbo freq 3.1GHZ pretty powerful laptop . Cleaning out laptop fan ect using new paste temp now no higher than 62 deg most of the time . Also has Nivida 540M DDR3 graphics card so im seriously impressed with this thing .

LAN port stopped workeing, USB 3.0 stopped working, and the PCIe lane wouldn't give me back my 390.  So, Amazon told me to keep the original then gave me a replacement for free.  Got my 390 without breaking the board, and found an x1 LAN port.  USB 3.0 I can fix.  So, I'm selling off Otaku's board/CPU/cooler and getting an i3 or i5 while Vash is keeping the new board+4790k.

Nice! Wish I could get a free mobo like that xD

I'm waiting for the price of 4th gen processors to drop so I can get a 4790K to upgrade my 4690K. My main gripe with buying international are the shipping prices. They's so crazily high. I always find those CPUs that are decent but the shipping is like twice the original price of the item which just turns me away from it.

Yeah it's prolly right around the corner now. Hopefully shipping won't be expensive. I was looking around for a used i7-680 for my home server but the listings on ebay wants 45 in shipping when the item is like 40.

Actually, the more i think about it, I should get a new case before upgrading the parts. It's so cramped in my Spec-03 with 2 GPUs. <.>

I kinda went cheap with Otaku, but it was a scrap build in the first place.  Originally, it was a cheap Compaq with a single core 170u Athlon II.  Bought a 925 to replace it, and it's almost not original at all.  The only things still left in it that are original are the HDD and the Optical Drive.  This is Otaku Dragon now.

*snip*

The ram was 6 gbs a 1066/1333 hybrid.  Took the 1066 out, and now I'm debating between just 1 more stick of 4 at 1333 to = 8gbs, or if I should get a 2*4 kit for 10 bucks more with a frequency of 1600 or 1866 while keeping the CAS/latency down to around 9.  I might also have someone get me, for my birthday a 212 evo since I'm selling off the raijintek aidos black cuz I don't wanna twist tie the cooler down/gets more money for me too.  But, a 212 does beat the stock intel cooler that I'm taking out of my 4790k's box.  Cuz the 4790k in Vash has a dual fan AIO.

Yeah the 4790K definitely needs some cooling. I read that the 4790K runs pretty hot even at stock with turbo. I would say get the kit. Imo, mixing ram sticks is a bad idea.

I have my 4690K at 4.5 right now and with a H80i cooling it, it still gets pretty toasty under Aida load at 85 sometimes spiking to 90. Lucky real life load isn't this bad. I plan to upgrade to a H100i but a new case is my priority right now. My Spec-03 can't fit a H100i I think.

Ya, I'm probably gonna get a G.Skill kit from Newegg, and then have my sister get me a 212 Evo.  It just amazes me that the Devil's Canyon CPUs come with a stock/cheap cooler.  It will probably be fine on a 4570 for a few months, but ya...so was never going to put that on a 4790k.  I heard people complaining about it hitting 60-70, the 4790k, when just doing light office work like desktop publishing on the stock cooler. xD It really lives up to the name "Devil's Canyon."  That would have been like me putting a stock AMD cooler on a 9370.  They are unlocked CPUs meant for enthusiasts to OC.  Why would you put a stock cooler on that?  Why ship one with a cheap stock cooler?!

Intel heard our cries and decided not to include any cooling with the Skylake chips. xD They used to do that with enthusiast chips like the Extreme editions but they totally scrapped the stock heatsink with the Skylake series. I mean they could still include it with the locked chips and ship the unlocked chip without a heatsink because like you said, we want to overclock the chip because we spent an extra 100 bucks for an unlocked cpu. Ironically tho, Devil's Canyon is supposed to have better TIM between the heat spreader and chip itself. Imagine the haswell 4770K on stock cooler...

To me 50C is a normal temp because I run mine overclocked and with power savings off.
