hello I'm searching for a new processor what is the overall best amd or intel ?

what is your pricerange? overall though intel has the best chips if you have an unlimited budget.

Best in terms of what? If you have a small budget then either a Pentium G3258 or an Athlon 760K might be the best, small-ish budget then an FX 8320 is good. But if your budget allows it then an i5 4690K might be better, or even an i7 4790K.

Budget PC=AMD

 

Thats how it usually go's, but it can vary on what you are going to do on it.

But OP, if you have a budget of $800 or less, then I would go with an 8320 and 990FX board. If you have a budget larger than that, then I would go with the i5 4690K and a Z97 board.
