Mass Effect has a very memorable Sci-Fi soundtrack.

 

The Metal Gear series, particularly MGS4, all have great game music.

The first videogame i played was Need for Speed 2 SE on my first PC (Pentium 3, Windows ME). I distinctly remember pelting across the United States in a McLaren F1 with heavy metal in the background. Those were great times (of course until my computer died when i was only 5 years old).

Here is the heavy metal track that i remember and cherish the most:

It was the only game I owned for 4 years. It was the first game I owned and on the first console I owned. It released on 15th of November 2001 along with the original Xbox it's: Halo Combat Evolved.
