iPhone 6 Specs Leaked?

IFeaRZz

1280x800?

I expect it will be more tbh.

The iPhone 5 had a low resolution I could see this having a low resolution to.

Its the 80:20 rule my firend, Apple lives and dies by it.  Apple has done reall research and determined that the with the screen size and the distance you will view it from, any visual benefit 96.8% of people will gain from a higher resolution is not worth the extra cost to build or loss of battery life.  It is also approximately the "retina" resolution for the expected viewing distance and screen size, which means that that 80% of people won't notice a higher resolution without a direct side by side comparison.  I have a Dell Venue 8 Pro 8" tablet with the same screen resolution and it looks phenominal at about 3/4 of an arm's lenghth away.

I agree with them actually.

"Front cam : 3.2MP photos (1280 by 960), 1080p HD video recording, New backside illumination sensor "

This can't be right, video resolution is always smaller than still photo resolution!!!

Or if you belive that "resolution is just a number" then I guess it doesn't matter!! JK

i find it lame if they really discontinue the 16Gb model. honestly i dont see how people can use more than 20gbs of storage on their mobile devices... for and ipad maybe it would make more sense to remove the 16gb model but not the phones.

my 16GB Galaxy Note 2 got filled up, a single game took almost 5GB alone, plus a few hundred songs running 6-14Mb a piece, yeah, i had less than 200Mb left...

I don't trust this leak because it says the front facing camera can record higher resolution video than the pictures it can take, which just seems illogical.

So you would think. All them selfies take up a lot of room... And so does your porn for when you get bored in the bathroom.

Interesting that this actually maybe the full specs of the iPhone 6?

Maybe a decent upgrade to the phone line but the looks of the phone are vile.

Almost all phones these days have the best of the manufacture, be it iPhone or whatever other android manufacture. Only time specs matter is when you are buying or choosing from some very cheap or low budget phones, where you use the apples to apples to compare the two.

To love is to risk not being loved in return. To hope is to risk pain. To try is to risk failure, but risk must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.

The iPhone 6 will most likely be my next phone. I've gone through HTC One, Note 2, LG G2 (All with Cyanogenmod). I'm currently using the iPhone 5 and a bigger screen is the only gripe I have.

Those are pretty convincing specs. I wouldn't be surprised if they are real.

Meh, not that great. Also I guess more space for the "same" money is better.

To me it seems like the back camera records in 4K, whereas the front camera records in 1080p? Or am I wrong?

MEH

Doubt it will be 1280x1600. Apple would be stupid to change aspect ratios again after they got it to the standard 16:9.

Believe it or not, I speculate that the 5.5" device will actually be the next iPod touch. I think it'll have lesser specs and the same screen resolution as the 4.7" model.

Apple wouldn't give people a reason to purchase an iPod touch over an iPhone (besides the lower price if you are not on a contract.)

As someone that has had their phone for almost a year and has used up almost 20gb on his 32gb note 3 and also used about 8gb in my Dropbox out of the 50 that came with, I can say that your comment does not apply to everyone especially not me, I don't understand why they would have a 16gb model, it's not enough space for someone that will use their phone for 2 or more years

So I can put anything here?

This is totally inaccurate.

The display res is going to be more because of the 5.5 inch version.

It's not going to be more expensive. It's going to be there same

They won't have 4K recording but a much now useful features for the camera

The display is going to use the sapphire cover for durability

All those specs are just guesses but not leaks

To be honest it looks good and sounds good. Of course it could be better, which is why I would probably wait for a 6s.

By that time, my lease on my iphone 4 will run out so it would be about time to upgrade

Only morons will give you crap, iPhones are premium devices no matter which camp you're in.

Kinda overpriced premium device however.

I'd give him crap for already deciding that he will buy it even though we know next to nothing about it.

I doubt there specs are correct though. First of all, they are not very detailed. Secondly, some of them are just weird, like changing to a a different aspect ratio (the iPhone is currently close to 16:9)and bumping up the resolution of the camera that much (might decrease low light performance, something they improved last time).

People tend to take lots of pictures with their phones. Add some games/apps to that and that storage is filled quite quickly. I would personally be happy to get 128gb models but the price would be painful.

If that's all they're doing with the battery I'll be rather disappointed. Removing 8 AND 16gb? 8 I can understand, but 16 would be a bit much. The screen resolution definitely needs to be higher to compete with flagships at the moment, especially if they're increasing the size. No clock speed or quad core mentioned, but if they stay with duals that they've been using since the 4S in 2011 they're plain stupid. I'd probably still buy it if I hadn't just upgraded to a Sony Z Ultra. That's my two cents.

Do people really buy the 128gb version? That is ridiculous.

I should be studying.

I'll believe the 4k video recording when I see it,  the cheapest 4k video camera I could find was a dodgy ebay job for $500. Incorporating one in a phone sounds like a stretch.

It's not ridiculous when you think about the fact that some people had 160GB iPod classics years ago and managed to max them out. With all the apps, movies, music, docs, pics, and whatever else you put on your phone 128GB isn't that much after having it for a year, especially if you love media.
