And walk right back out because I'm wearing a nVidia partner shirt that says The way it's made to be played.

 

My fun moment for the day having this happen 2 times today because the shop only sells nVidia products.

Why are you AMD people so mad today :(

One asked for a 280x and one asked what video cards I had. First guy said oh that's to bad and walked out and the other said I only like AMD. nVidia sucks. And i cried a little after.

well, he walked into a PC shop trying to buy a graphics card, how is that not a flag enough?

A lot of people do like to support local shops and don't mind paying a few bucks more for it to have it same day

It's a business partnership program. The higher up the "ladder" you are with them, the better the goodies that randomly come in the mail. Right now I'd say I'm pretty high up and in the last 6 months have seen a few GPU sized boxes show up.

Don't get me wrong. AMD is alright.

 

nVidia sends me really awesome stuff to be a partner and sell Geforce cards. 

 

I know how it works,  my uncle owns a shop too and he has a similar deal with intel, that's why I only ever get intel cpus ^^ but he does sell amd cards, I have an R9 290 in my rig right now :)

We hardly ever get requests for AMD cards these days. A lot of the customers are very nVidia biased and our contracts out to larger companies like Boeings prefer higher end nVidia cards for their machines so being in an aerospace town it's what we sell 99% of the time.

 

I'm a Intel partner as well and do enjoy the $70 4770k and much cheaper X series cards.

Nvidia ..... The way games are meant to be played.
