Brace yourselves.

EDIT:  There's something inherently beautiful in a grayscale photo, but I have bad memories of playing the guitar... the last one I touched had the strings snap on me LOL.

Nice car but could rally do with a better edit.

Nothing to see here - move along.

Took this with my mom's Nokia Lumia 520. Not bad, right? Coulda done better, I admit, and I probably should have cleaned my palm prints off my netbook, but this is still pretty good for a 5 second pic.

Not bad, 9/10.

Took these with some cheap Kodak 10MP point-and-shoot. Probably shoulda cleaned the front off, and I didn't have enough light, so I had to ue the flash. :(

A lot of potential in this photo, I really like it, but the sun is a little too dominant and the actual landscape underexposed 7/10

I know. I LOVE my canon t3i and hate to take a photo with anything else. It is a really great investment and well worth it. I would recommend a canon t3i and any extra lenses you can afford.

Yep. T5i f22 20 seconds with nd filters.

Nice subject but a little hazy. 6.5/10

More blurry water for you. Just a quick edit done.

How the heck do you get that water...

First, you MUST use a tripod. Set the exposure to anything over a second, have a small aperture to let in less light as the shutter is open longer. I use ND filters to cut out light as well so I can go 20-30 seconds in daylight.

Nothing to see here - move along.

Great set of photos!! The only thing I may have edited/changed was the background.  I find it slightly over exposed.  Try lowering the "highlights" area in PS or Lightroom maybe?  I love taking long exposure shots. :)
