Cpu cooler for i3 8th gen

well the title says it all,

my friend is currently rocking a i3 8th gen is planning to get a cooler for it, I think the Deepcool Gammaxx AG300 should be enough since he is on a tight budget and his stock cooler is completely busted

It's an i3.  It doesn't spit out enough heat to matter, really.  Nearly any cooler will work fine on it. 

 

Check out the Thermalright Assassin 120.  It's also a really well priced cooler.

 

Question:  are the Cooler Mounts busted?  or is it the fan that's busted?
