Counting free (in the sense of money free and free free) software: Through the roof.

Not counting free software:

  • Windows 7
  • Microsoft Office something I haven't used in forever
  • Adobe Photoshop CS4

That is also the extent of non-free (in the sense of money free) software that I use.

Beside OS I have paid for 4 software from which I currently use 2. Then I have one software which is kinda paid but I haven't bought it and have unlimited licenses. No, not illegal. I got it as part of pay while working at Uni.

Windows 7 Home premium, bought a while back. 

Windows 7 Pro, from dreamspark. Legal, even if it's free.

Windows 8 and 8.1 pro, also from dreamspark. 

 

Rest is free and/or open-source.
