Windows 7 came with my computer, my friend did pirate 8 for me once when I wanted to try it, and my dad has a discount license for Office.

Nothing paid in terms of production software from adobe etc or sony vegas.

Most of the software I own is free, because I'm cheap.

 

However, I do own some genuine softwares, like Windows 7 and...umm..Windows 7

Adobe Premiere/After Effects/Photoshop/Illustrator/Bridge/Flash Pro (Animation stuff)

FL Studio 11, Ableton

XSplit

If games count, plenty in that department.

I really wish that we'd just make organic hardware already, that grows and adapts to the demands it needs to meet. That way, grannies' computers can be floppy sacks of organicness and the 12 year old Minecrafters will look like the guys that only do bicep curls, and the nerdy programmers will finally have justice, with their body-builder rigs that skipped leg day.

i don't know, probably not, as the point of starting the thread was focused on software's or as some of my friend call it "mission critical applications" , so that's a topic for another thread i believe. ;) (vote on something by the way )

I think percentages would be more suitable here, someone could have gotten 12 geniune softwares over the course of their life, but they could also have hundreds of pirated softwares.

yep i know, but i don't think people have ever bought more than 12-15 software's max over his entirety, especially when considering genuine/buying of a product.. & look at the bottommost text on my thread title post..

Not many... Linux on my netbook, Windows 98 on HELIOS, and Windows 7 Home Premium x64 on my grandma's computer is about all I have. Technically I don't even own her HP, so only 2...
