In need of some serious help ASAP

exactly what I was asking :), I think when he did that he bricked his bios, when I was trying out the board to see if I could mod flash it with a hackintosh bios, I bricked it, it was not the mod bios I used, it was the fact that I went from 17.5 to 17.7 skipping 17.6, which caused it to do the same thing he his having problems with, just booting up for 5 seconds then repeating it over and over

I'm pretty sure that's what I've done and now it won't work on the old CPU is there anyway to fix this issue?

Yes there is,

All you need to do is download the bios you want to flash, then using a fat32 formatted usb stick, run the forum bios flashing tool.
>>Use the MSI HQ Forum USB flasher<<
Do not begin this process unless your computer is 100% stable! Many bios failures are due to faulty ram etc, if you corrupt your "good" bios the board is dead!
1.) Remove any overclock you have.
2.) Boot using the working bios, with the memory stick inserted into the usb port.
3.) As soon as the flashing tool screen comes up and you need to input, reach down and switch to the nonworking bios. (DO NOT SWITCH FROM BIOS A TO B UNTIL THE FLASHING TOOL HAS LOADED)
4.) Proceed with FLASH.

You will also need to download, The MSI Mpower bios 17.3 http://us.msi.com/product/mb/Z77-MPOWER.html#/?div=BIOS

Hope this helps, and if you have any further quistions or get stumped on anything while doing this, Please PM me any I will help you more.
