First time i ever paid someone in quarters

elan2468

So i ordered a large dominoes pizza and i only had 50$ cash so i asked the lady if the driver could bring 30$ change and she said sure. So the guy arrived and he only had 10$ So i went to my change and made the poor guy wait while i counted out 14$ worth of quarters, has anyone else ever done this or something similar before?

You're a massive dick, no I haven't.

He asked to bring $30 change, the driver didn't. How is he a dick?

He told them to bring $30 in change. They didn't. That sounds like their fault.

Despite being unreasonable I didn't mean it completely seriously, I just couldn't bring myself to give a man that amount of coins. :D

It is their fault, not necessarily the driver's fault if the woman failed to tell him, but it's their fault.

I'd likely call the pizza place back and speak to this woman with him still there and say wtf do I do you didn't give him my change I want this pizza free and put it on her lol.

You sounded pretty serious without that emoticon.

Why didnt you pay by card?

Not all Pizza delivery companies allow that. Also, he might not have a card.

On topic now, I like paying in $2 bills because they don't make them anymore and $2 bills are hella classy IMO.

I remember ordering pizza once and the driver didn't have enough change, she actually ended up driving to a near by store with the 50 dollar bill to get the change for it. I felt kinda bad she had to take those extra steps. x:

edit: Oh, even more quoted American bashing, Careful not to cut anyone with all those edges.

Dominoes allows the option of pay in cash or by card if you order it online. You even get up to date statuses on the condition of your pizza. Maybe OP ordered by phone or didn't have a card. You're not superior just because you swipe a piece of plastic to pay for food. What kind of superiority complex is that anyway?
