Weird "treasure" that I found

While I was cleaning my desk to prepare it for the all day gameathon that is summer, I found two individually paper sleeved disks. I look at the first one and it was an un-opened copy of microsoft works 8.5 and a trial of office 2003. The second disk was a reinstallation disk for an OS. It did not say what, but after reading the fine print it is for widows XP 2005 update 2. Good lord that is old. I am only sixteen, when this thing came out I was only 7. I think this came with the first computer I ever had, I have no idea what the specs were  because at the time I was worried about more pertinent things like shenanigans spongebob was up to. Do you think that in another 9-10 years this will be considered "rare" or should I just send it to a dump in new mexico to be found in another 30 years? Could you even install XP now with this disk or no because it is only a RE-installation?

Haha I did the same thing but I found one of those cds that came with the cereal box that had games on it. It had the Atari brand on it. Ahhh, good times.

I am 14, my brand new computer i build a few mopnths ago was running windows xp we found in our house until i had money for windows 8

I found an installation disc for Windows XP SP1 next to the fish tank in the umbrella bucket, I took an ISO and put the key in a .txt file, I don't know where the disc is now.

 

EDIT: Damn it, I lost the key but I have the ISO.  :angry:

I remember installing XP Pro on at least 50 computers at my work last summer. Not old to me

I still have all my sega mega drive games, heck I even have an atari 2600 jr and all the games boxed plugged into my tv  

 

and every single PS1 and PS1 game on display on my shelves (quite a freaking log)
