Hey guys


I am going to buy a laptop later in July-August (probably an Asus G550JK) and I will be getting an SSD for it (most likely a 500GB). Anyway, I have stumbled upon plenty of SSD deals right now. What's up with these? Is it a price reduction or just a temporary sales? The samsung SSDs are almost 50% off on amazon. Is it worth it?

Should I buy it or is it finally the time for SSD price reduction?

the EVO ssds are usually only a little more then $.5 per GB

Well this is just showing that ssd are coming down in price, possibly to make them more practical as main drives. Anyway these are great extremely trust worthy ssd and why question a low price, just be happy it's cheap :)

They're a decent sale but nothing amazing. I think Amazon a lot of the time uses the MSRP at launch as it's MSRP all the time, not factoring in price drops over the life of the product.
