Wtf NCIX? lol

So my brother bought a gaming PC from NCIX back in 2010 but the hard drive died so he just gave me and when i opened it up i noticed on the power supply NCIX (i think) put whiteout over the words "For home and office use" on the PSU (i scraped it off in the picture).

I just thought this was funny/weird. I mean guess i see why they did it though, This PC was supposed to be a gaming PC from NCIX but they used a cheapo Logisys Case/PSU bundle so they covered those words on the label? idk.

 

Edit: Changed the title and edited the post a bit to hopefully clear up any confusion and tone down the pointless comments.

we did read it, we know its a PSU but you didn't write about the white....thing until you edited the post. we cant read your mind man.

We read it, it's just not significant.

At all...

Did he not use it in a home or office? There aren't many more places you could use the psu other than a data center (of which they would not waste their time on consumer products unless they enjoy power failures.)

So if you bought a power supply from Newegg for your new gaming PC and they put fucking white-out on it covering words "For home  and office use only" you would think that's insignificant? It doesn't even matter what the purpose of the PSU is for it's the fact that they put white out on it and it's hard to notice. A.k.a sly as fuck and hilarious at the same time.

Don't call it significant without giving a substantial reason why. Your only basis for argument is that other people have called it insignificant and you disagree, without pointing out why. Yes, it is weird to white-out a label saying it's for home and office only, we get that. What we don't understand is why you're making a huge deal out of it.

Did it cause you physical harm, psychological harm or personal loss of any kind? No? Well there goes all the legalities you could argue.
