Dead pixel troll. Be aware...

Thank you to the lttstore.com team for the dead pixel troll. I was anxiously rubbing and tapping my 500€ monitor without a reason... getting stronger every second because the pixel didn't disappear.

This is surely healthy for the panel.

I've seen the WAN Show and am aware of the dead pixel moment.

ah, sh*t, i was trying to counter you by screenshotting your image with your avatar and putting it back in 😄
I got over the mad rubbing but I still think this could've ended bad for some people.

Edit: censored "shit"

this is why you scroll up and down to see if the pixel moves or not.

Someone thought they were being clever and its anchored to that point in the window. Scrolling makes it appear as though its legit.. until you realize its only that page.

And it changes color depending on what it is covering. Stuck pixels don't do that.

Respectfully disagree.

My phone displays the same 'dead' area, and it's not a display issue, since it only shows itself on this specific page.

Spoiler

Furthermore, when I scroll upwards, you can see the pixel accelerate upwards, indicating it is not a stuck pixel on the actual panel.

Currently, I am running an iPhone XR running iOS 16.5.1(c), and using Safari as my web browser. May be a rendering issue on certain browser engines.

Man that's so weird. Because I'm not seeing any of those dead pixels after I go in MS Paint and remove them from your screenshots

At first I thought it's a prank, but after checking by myself on the mobile website, it does have "a dead pixel"

(Pic below, above the "S" of Newsletter)
Maybe it's an oversight, or a prank from LMG employee (although we already passed April Fool)

P.S., I can assure you I'm not using MS Paint to add the white dot 😅

If the element literally says 'dead pixel', it's both not a bug from browser engines, and most definitely on purpose.

I like that it literally is just an inverted pixel. I made it bigger to play with it and now Colton looks funnier than normal haha

The dead pixel effect was deliberately coded into the Shopify theme. It's not a bug.

It's probably there to make spotting people just copying their code easier.

Why would they want to copy the code if it’s just Shopify
