Which are the best youtube channels that teach configuring network, WAN, firewall, vlan, vpn, etc?

There is no "yt channel" that I know of specifically, usually if you want to get into this stuff I would start with making a simple webserver; that way you can get hands on experience and learn how networks, protocols work and stuff like that. If you get stuck or something a simple search for a vid will be plentiful. Ws3 schools, geeks for geeks are great resources and before you get into learning protocols as you have described I strongly recommend you read about the OSI model and the TCP/IP model as those protocols you have described are based on those layers.

EDIT: FOUND A FEW YT CHANNELS THAT YOU MAY WANT TO LOOK INTO:

https://youtube.com/@RaidOwl : homelab / hardware

https://youtube.com/@christianlempa : homelab / software

https://youtube.com/@ServeTheHomeVideo : hardware, check the website too

https://youtube.com/@TechnoTim : homelab

this reddit thread is where I got it from:

Not really, he does not go in depth in his networking vids and always has coffee interludes imo he mostly BS's the video, I think ppl would prefer youtubers who cut to the chase with no BS. For a beginner he is is fine but above that level, I would avoid him.

Hence why I said basics... Not advanced. He does a decent job at explaining the basics and concepts. I haven't watched his videos in many years so he may have changed, but he was decent several years ago.

CBT Nuggets have some good videos on their YouTube channel for free. They have a paid video service as well but I personally prefer INE if you're going the paid route.
