Requesting assistance with these specifications min. 1920x1460 min. 120 Hz Size 24-28 inches

Hello,

 

Seeking assistance finding monitors that meet these specifications:

 

1. Minimum resolution: 1920x1460

2. Minimum refresh rate: 120 Hz

3. Size: 24 inches min. to 28 inches max.

4. HDMI/DP interfaces

 

The manufacturer or price range doesn't matter.

Standard frame (no curved monitors)

4:3 monitors are incredibly niche, and the only thing I can even find advertised is going to max out at 21". Is there a reason your needs are so specific?

Agree. The only reasonable monitor you are finding in 4:3 are going to be old used stock, and then you aren't going to be getting the additional specifications. I'm really confused about the use case here.

 

Is there any reason you can't use more traditional 16:9 display with those needed specifications and pillarbox down to 4:3?

There are literally no 4:3 monitors with 120hz refresh rates. You'd need a CRT and an input conversion box

Why can't you get an Ultrawide and segment it in halves?

 

21:9 is close enough to 2x 4:3 monitors?

 

Or rather any 1440p monitor satisfies your resolution MINIMUM damn near

Hi Kid,

 

Yes, it is an incredibly niche project I need for work. We're evaluating a video feed visually and the test stand configuration can't accommodate a larger monitor.

Space constraints - the test station I need this monitor on is tying our hands.

ASUS PA248Q is 60 hz 1920x1200 24", you can't get over 60 hz unless it is 16:9 resolution sadly.

 

That said there have been nice 3:2 laptops in recent years, when can that development add variety to desktop displays?

 

A 75hz 1920x1440 CRT is going to be the closest you can come to your spec I'd imagine...

 

Or get a 28" 120hz 2560x1440 LCD
