My case doesn't have any proper hard drive cages, best way to mount it?

IDK what case it is. My old boss gave it to me when I upgraded.

It is a slandered 1TB 3.5 inch HDD.

Hmmm. I've found that even OEM cases from HP/Dell typically have a spot to attach a 3.5" HDD. Do you have a photo of the interior of the case?

Sorry for the dust if that causes issues. It isn't on the components, Going to clean it soon with a gpu upgrade.

That second photo is the HDD bay... there's slide-in plastic drive caddies that go in there, both my Corsair and Phanteks cases have used similar. Each OEM uses their own slightly different one, but I believe they're pretty standard between an OEM's own cases. If you can find the brand on the case anywhere, should be able to track down one of the drive caddies.

Here is the thing, IDK who made this case. would there be a different way to mount it.

^^^ It looks very Fractal from what I can see, but Corsair makes some similar budget cases, and I believe old Phanteks case are similar as well (their new budget cases are stamped/cut differently from Fractal so the steel looks a little different).

Crazy suggestion, rather than try and track down some HDD trays, which might prove to be difficult at this point in time... Why not just mount the HDD in the 5.25 bay, using some 5.25 to 3.5" adapters? They make those in all sorts of versions and styles? Here is a 5.25 to 3.5" adapter bracket example.

It doesn't use caddys. The screws on the harddrives slot into the grooves. My current case is EXACTLY the same and I have two drives currently mounted bare.

So just please HDD on the tabs, and screw in at least 2 screws from the side of HDD (remove front case panel to have access)? the PSU side will be a challenge. You could try to do with bit in fingers.

Will do, I got it in last week, I am just waiting on screws.
