Framework refuses to sell me parts

Guys I need your help

my framework laptop has been broken for over a year with a display issue and framework refuses to send me a replacement display because I'm using a freight forwarding address (ordering from US then shipping it to my home address) they were happy to sell me a laptop to that address but refuse to ship me parts.

even though my laptop was under warranty when it broke I'm still happy to pay for my replacement part, but every time I try to place an order on their website they send me an email declining my order a day after, contacting customer service didn't help at all (they were very adamant not to ship me parts)

i hope someone here can share this post with Linus since no one else can help me

Already seen that, they seem to refuse to sell outside the US and also to forwarding addresses once they know it's one...

Can't really fathom why, now you need to find an US real friend to get the part for you 😮

Get Framework support to tell you the model number of LCD panel they put in their laptops so you can find one yourself outside of Framework.

Or take your display assembly apart and look at the back of the panel for the manufacturer's information sticker.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

you should fix the title to say it's because you're using freight forwarding. Freight forwarding is endlessly used to scam, regardless of the legit ways it can be used.

It's not unusual for companies to refuse to send to these addresses due to the endless fraud.

No, they do sell in supported countries outside the US.
Freight forwarders they’ve never allowed though.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

They aren't refusing to sell you parts - they're refusing to ship to a freight forwarding address, which has been well and repeatedly documented and is spelled out on their site

Even better, that's been their policy since sales on the laptops started.
