H6 Flow with 360 radiator in the front panel?

mRcL1337

Hello from Germany,

i recently got a new gaming rig with the following specs:

Intel i9 14900k on the NZXT Kraken 360mm

64gb Corsair Vengeance RAM

2x 2 TB Samsung990 Pro nvme

1300w BeQuiet PSU

RTX 3080

NZXT H6 Flow RGB

Now i have planned on watercooling my GPU.

As i mentioned above, i already have a 360mm radiator on the top of the case for my CPU.

I was thinking about how I can watercool my GPU because of the minimum of space left in my case.

So the H6 Flow has 3 120mm Fans in the angled Front panel bot as you can see in the reviews and photos, there is the angled Mainboard mount side next to it.

So I think it´s not an option to mount the radiator there.

Now i want to know if it is possible, to mount the radiator kind of outside the case on top of the already mounted fans in the front panel?

I think it is possible, but is there enough space for the tubes?

I know it is a pretty new case from NZXT, but maybe we got some big brainers here to help me out.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

mRcL1337

I mean its a 3080 a 240mm is fine.

But you sure you wanna spend a heap of cash on a 3080? Full cover blocks which you NEED arent cheap and eaisly halfway if not more to a better gpu

I see your point here, but GPUs are so freaking expensive.

I fount an AIO for GPUs for like 300 bucks and i just want to try it.

So, anyone got an idea for me?

I mean the 3080 pulls up to 400 Watt with some OC, so the thermal limits are the only limits holding it back.

There are AIOs for it on the market for around 250-300 dollars, so imo its worth a try.

The question is, if it will fit! Is there enough space for the tubes?

Hard to KNOW judged on pics and never tested the case or card, but i in my experience with AIOs on GPU's  there is always a way 🙂

but what i cant know is if there is space for a 360in the top + 360 as side intake at the same time

I just fount an old 360 AIO for a CPU, on the weekend i will throw it on there to see if it would fit.

Alternative way would be custom AIO 240mm with the reservoir mounted directly to the fans i guess...

Any suggestions for best bang for the buck?

It is i believe, but youll want to upgrade the fans on it, they have 2mm static pressure and 61CFM, so a little lacking in that regard but should be pretty effective, just fitting it as you said 😋

I would swap them out with the already installed nzxt ones, so should be fine...
