i have a 4k tv that i want to play in 1440p cause i heard my gpu is a good 1440p gpu but unfortunately i cant get 60hz on my 4k tv at 1440p

Try a different HDMI port. Because if 60hz works at 4k it should at 1440p too

 

But I'd also do a DDU of your old drivers and install the latest ones

if you are plugged straight from the PC to the TV you should get 4k60hz (depending on your gpu)through nvidia control panel>display>change resolution

and then change the in game settings to 1440p not the display

that or check your tv HDMI spec could max out around 1.4. unless you can do 4k at higher rates as stated

also its a tv...it may not support 1440/60. or hell it may not support 1440 is why its limited.

a lot of 4k tvs only support 1080 or 4k. not 1440

most tvs dont have the resolution range of a monitor
