No.

When her manager allegedly forced her to control and continue to update/monitor the LTT onlyfans joke account after she was bombarded with explicit images doing so and brought it up with her manager.

What a person does in there own time in no way changes an employers obligations to an employee at work.

I think you're intentionally missing the point, or you are seriously keeping Crayola in buisness.

As an April fools joke, ltt started an OF. This act, along with the pics posted draw a pretty clear image of some of the environment of LMG.

Yes because what is appropriate in my social life is always appropriate at work.

Since you seem to be Mr. Google, why don't you go ahead and Google "Hostile work enviornment" U.S., Canada, Europe, wherever. She didn't sign up to manage a porn studios socials, and to ask someone to manage a profile recieving what I can only imagine was HORRIBLE content via paid DM is hardly okay.

No, victim blaming isn't ever okay.

A person is allowed to be sexual and still not have it as part of their work life. I don't care if she started an onlyfans, and sold her vomit to the highest bidder. Private behavior, sexual or not does not justify workplace harassment.

Just as being a boxer doesn't give someone permission to deck you, being a sexual being doesn't give an employer the right to abuse you.

I consider these complaints utterly unworthy of being brought up, unlike the rest.

It was a safe for work April fools joke.

If she can't handle the way humanity is on the internet, then she has a mental problem and the wrong job which is no one's fault.

But all of the other complaints were very serious.  She should have left that one off.

How many unsolicited dick pics do you think were sent to the LST account?

You do realize that the images were tame, but highly suggestive, and if that wasn't in her job description, it really wasn't okay, right?

Like in an all hands HR briefing the day after she left ?  The timing and now possible context of the “dance on the table” “joke” unless it’s a running inside joke at the company says a hell of a lot.

Given the employee thought it was appropriate and funny Is very telling about the culture.

This part disturbed me the most, too.  While I found the joke to be objectively funny, this was the ONE TIME in LMG history that Broseph should have used his inside voice.  Is he that socially obtuse or just plain mean?

(Background: reminds me of when my dad verbally abused me for winning a provincial championship and justifying himself with, "I have freedom of speech.")

The issue isn’t that OF or that the social media person was managing it.  That can be negotiated like say a firefighter calander promotion is.

The issue is once she made her manager aware what was happening  and that she was asked to keep exposing herself to that it that is a very clear cut example of sexual harassment.

The last round of training I did had almost the exact same set up as an example (using magazines instead of DM’s) but imho it still applies.  Once a manager is made aware they have obligations to put controls in place to make the work place safe.

+ given the platform it should have been expected and policies put in place if it had been thought about for longer then a Linus brain fart.

I realize that Americans have a weird theory that all sexuality is magically traumatizing and that official reality is that it's somehow "sexual harassment" to be exposed to any expression, even by random people on the internet, if you self-identify as incapable of handling it.

It's utter nonsense, and if you can't handle humanity, don't get a social media job.  Americans are WRONG.

This isn't even a matter of it being 100% true. You have no way of knowing what she was asked to do, and @JoshuaScholar's comment didn't address veracity of the claim, just that they didn't feel it was as intense as the others.

There is no ground to question what they have said. Until evidence to the contrary is provided, the victim should be believed.

Americans are wrong about a lot of things. But it is pretty much universally not okay to expose your employee to harmful materials (including that which was inevitably sent to the LST OF). It isn't a matter of ooh its just how the internet is. OF is a porn platform, at the end of the day, its what it is, and that means that there is a higher expectation and duty of protection surrounding it.

A couple of things:

1) Harm is a legal definition here, not a personal one. And yes, in pretty much every developed nation, that would be considered harm, including in Canada where the whole thing happened

2) Harm is relative, and what's fine for one person may be harmful for another.

3) Regardless of whether you like it or not, the employer has a responsibility to protect their employee from harm, especially when said harm manifested from their own joke.

You believe that requiring an employee to read lewd comments and look at obscene pictures after they have objected to this isn't sexual harassment?!?!

I don't know where you live, but you would be very wrong in Canada at least.

It's sad when the law makes up nonsense that doesn't correspond to anything in reality.

I realize that some non-Americans have this weird theory that even though they have zero background in psychology or mental trauma, they feel that they can magically determine that everyone is able to healthily consume any media that is thrown at them.   I'm guessing these people self-identify as pretty smart, which is unfortunate when much of what they spew is nonsense.

If you don't know what you are talking about, kindly keep quiet.   YOU are WRONG.

you are right given her demonstated complete lack of ablity to handle any thing sexual she was very clearly tramatised

never mind you the endless jokes she made about her bodly fuctions or gentials

clearly she was not emotionally ready to be subjected to the internet so the question is again why was she in social media?

that arugment holds as much water as a fork folks.  15 minutes of scrolling her twitter should convince you that she has NO problem handling "sexually explicit comments"

we can all agree tho shes does have serious mental health issues tho what kind of reasonable person enjoys  mean jokes about somebody bleeding out or brags about the shape of her vagina

you people aren't seeing her for what she really is because you are convinced shes a victum: real talk shes not shes a nutbag that likely got exactly what she was giving others

I really hope they have CCTV and have footage of every single word uttered I will thoughly enjoy watching this unravel like my cat with a ball of yarn

I suppose there's a slight possibility that she "gives it out but can't take it" on a crazy level, that she is also guilty of everything she accuses others of.  But we can't know things like that if we weren't in the room for every single interaction.

I have argued from the beginning that the structure of work needs to be different with things like union representatives who you can ask to be in the room for every meeting.

If it part of your job I do, and if you object then the company you work for has the right to find someone who does not object to do the job. Obscene pics and comments is sadly part of the digital age be it on OF or twitter.
