I ordered a keyboard from China recently and it took about 10 days to arrive with air freight. (living in Germany)

Still, i won't buy from China if possible, because even if the seller will accept returns and issue refunds, shipping stuff back there is expensive and risky.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

I've never had to return anything while I did ask and got refunds

It standard practice that if you ordered the wrong thing or just want to return without a specified reason that you have to give the product back. It's something else if it's under warranty coverage.
