Russia will cut off US access to the International Space Station

Meh,Ukraine is gonna be Russian territory soon anyway. They stand no chance...unless the UN do something, which I'm pretty sure they won't.

Literately hurt my head to read.

"In my personal opinion this is stupid cause the US obviously doesn't care about space, it never has regardless of what you think you learned in school. The only reason we developed a space program is because it was a "cover" to develop rocket propulsion for missiles, nuclear one's, back in the 60's-70's so forgive me if i don't see the point in this. If the US actually cared about going to space we would be giving NASA way more money then we are now. "

some how the quote broke.

And this changes what?
The NASA can't do a thing with their crappy budget anyways.
We could have been on Mars 20 years ago and we could have colonized the moon by now.
The only thing from stopping us is that the NASAs tiny budget.

If the US doesn't wake up soon China will be the leading power in space.

Just one question. Since when the fuck is Russian Federation a communist state? Do they teach that in US?

Depends on your school. Mine didn't talk about the Berlin Wall but briefly. We spent like 2 weeks on 80s to 2000s. But a month on the main wars.

Well for information, Russian Federation is officially a democratic republic. USSR(collapsed in 91) was a socialist one party totalitarian republic. :) there has been nothing of communism anywhere on this world apart from books :P

Russians are the only ones currently providing launches with their soyuz program out of Baikonur. NASA doesnt do manned launches anymore. and SpaceX hasnt made any contracts for that yet

Oooh.So they can get on the ISS,but they'd have to do the launches themselves. That sounds more legit.

Russia can tell themselves they aren't still a bunch of communists all they want, but you can't tell me a few decades of losing Superpower status has gone well for the leaders in the mother land.

If Russia does then NASA will just have to reactivate the shuttle program or something. There was no reason for it to have been shutdown.

International relations between Russia and the US are always kinda amusing.

Usually it's just a pissing contest.

But this is like two kids in the playground, refusing to share each others toys.

Actually it's like two bullies being petty with each other because they can't decide who gets to boss around the weedy kid.

What happened to "International" ?

This is a result of americas sanctions against russia, and America ditching the shuttle program.

Russia's actions really bother me lately. We've moved into this strange era where we apparently aren't in a cold war, but we kind of always are. Any major superpower could effectively cause some serious shit to go down. Even so Russia is essentially trying to get back into the Imperialism game. I believe that we may eventually have a one world government, but for a major country to start pushing its way back into other countries doesn't seem to make too much sense to me.

What reason do they really have to be encroaching on foreign soil? What does Russia really stand to gain from all this?

They wanted the Crimean peninsula so they could have access to a warm water port. No idea why they would want the rest of the Ukraine though

I love how most American's think Russia is a weak pile of a helpless country, not to mention if mess did hit the fan, what side do you think China which is the second larges economy in the world would take? If both of them sanctioned the US it would cripple us too. Russia is a vast country with massive amounts of resources and technology that is not to far behind us and the ability to bring the fight to US soil. I think we need to be careful, one day it might escalate past who has a bigger dick contest.

I don't know what you learned in school, but Russia has over 30% of all the natural resources in the world.

Russia landed a craft on another planet in the 60s,70s and 80s and received images back to earth from them.

China and russia are much further ahead than the US.

Okay, but Russia still has over 30% of all natural resources in the world. Madeleine Albright was calling Russia out telling them they should share their resources with the rest of the world. Funny woman.

So if anyone can manage with all of dem US sanctions, that would be Russia.

You were saying Russia can only dream of resources Ukraine has. I disagree. Madeleine disagrees as well. :D

Also, do you have access to russian government documents that support this claims or something?
