Best image viewer for Windows?

Go to solution Solved by Sjaakie,

Not sure if it fits all your requirements but Irfanview is pretty great.

In my opinion JPEGview is hands down the best image viewer for Windows out there.

I use it many years and it has everything I want.

Fast as hell, minimal interface, fullscreen, no BS.

You can also do some editing with it and it has some perks that most other editing programs don't have like loseless rotation and crop for Jpeg.

Oh and did I mention that it is freeware?

Unfortunately tho it has been discontinued for like 6 years now.

And there are some files I need to view that it just have not the ability to read.

Like the DNG and the CR3 files.

So what am I going to do?

Adobe Bridge is the best alternative I know.

Still it's not going to display a file just by double clicking it. And on top of that it's going to sit and create thumbnails for the whole folder, as if I need that.

I tried the file viewer plus but it's rather slow to open,it has no full screen, and most importantly you cannot view the adjacent images by using the arrow keys.

I mean do you know an image viewer that I don't?

That's pretty nice.

I had to download the plugins to open those files but it gets the job done.

I think I'll like it even more when I'll get the hang of it.

Thanks a lot!
