So just received my parts for a major upgrade. Was expecting them next week, but got a surprise call from courier about delivery today... While I was at work. Very nice to finish and go on my weekend.

 

Will keep it updated when building if anyone is interested.

Nope, nobody on a PC building forum is going to want progress updates on your PC build 😛

 

Seriously though, platform upgrades are the best, you basically get to rebuild the entire thing while only spending half the money.

Agreed, anyone with a GTX 1070ti or better with an equivalent era CPU would likely benefit more from a CPU upgrade than a GPU upgrade.

All if it together. I will try push/pull rad for now. Will do some testing with push/pull and push fans to see how it affects temps. If I can leave all 4 fans on idle for 7800x3d, I will leave all 4 in
