The first thing I started gaming on was my GameBoy Advance SP, then I got a PS2, then a DS lite, then a DSi, then a PS3, then finally my PC.

So my childhood was all consoles, until I discovered the wonderful world of PC gaming!

I started out on the original NES, even though it came out before I was born. Duck Hunt and Mario were the first games I really played.   Gamed on PC shortly after, still play on both consoles and PCs still*.

*Unlike most, I don't care what I play on, it is the game that makes the experience, not the system. I am just as happy playing COD on Xbox as I am on Playstation as I am on PC.

Man,... do I feel old now. But tbh the "old" people started before DOS on C64, Amiga etc. I know few :)

My history is Game&Watch (handheld so don't really count), DOS, Famicom clone, Win95/98, PS2, WinXP, WinVista, Win7.

I'm the same way I enjoy consoles as much as I do PC games. Modern warfare 1 was the last cod game I played extensively on ps3

PC first, first console was SEGA mega drive.

Then N64 and PlayStation.

PlayStation 1 and 2 are my favourite consoles to date, more so than 3 or 4 (that may change as we see more first party/exclusive ps4 titles come out)

COD wise, COD4 was the last game I played a lot on my Xbox besides Guitar Hero 2 iirc (might have been 3. Whichever one it was that was on the 360 and the PS2). Great game, but I don't play multiplayer much, as our internet is not exactly reliable.

Then you can also take into account games that do not exist on the PC, like Guitar Hero (as far as I know), SOCOM (PS 2/3/P only), Forza, etc. Why would someone choose to miss great games because of the system it is on?

some guitar heros are on pc. Atleast gh3. For multiplayer ive been playing alot of halo 4. And idk why people do that. Consoles may not look as good as pc but consoles has some of the best games ever made.

Interesting. Bet you would need an xbox controller to make it work.

Well, you can also go as far as to say that the looks do not matter. Would you rather have the best looking game ever invented with no story, no challenge, just looks or a game that may not look so good but has an amazing story behind it?  I would always take the second. If the game looks good, then fine, but story first, at least in my opinion.

I agree. Story first graphics later. Crysis 1 looked good and I actually kind of liked the story line. I also get tired of when a game gets too many sequels too fast... Like call of sequels.

I started all the way back on a old Sega Genesis, then jumped to the PS1, then PS2, then to pc because pc is just better for everything.  I can't believe at one point I considered buying a Xbox 360.

I don't know how long we had it, when I think about it I just think we had it since i was a baby and my sister played it. The first thing I played on was an original nintendo but at the same time we had a sega game gear. I don't remember which one I played first since I was just a little kid. For the nintendo we had mario and duck hunt with the gun. For the game gear we had sonic and baseball.
